EXPERIMENT WITH KAMRYN!

This was my science experiment with Kamryn. We were testing if things could float or not. It was really fun. I hope I can do this again.

Topic 4

Floating and sinking

Questions

Why does something float?

It is light and mostly full of air

Why does something sink?

It is heavy and doesn't have much air

Why is something semi float?

It is 50 50 full of air and half not much

Buoyant

-Both things

Positive buoyant

-light things

Negative buoyant

-heavy things

Buoyant experiment-

Aim or purpose:Predict and test the buoyancy of objects.

Method

Before you test each object you have. Get the right and accurate measurement and weight. Describe the material and predict density. Recording is optional

Gently place each of the objects into the water bath. Take up and look at what happens. It’s behavior.
