Practical Percentages

 Hi guys, so I know that this a weird time to post, but I just wanted to show you guys my progress with percentages. Now for the first time I finally did section 2 for the slides. So in this slide I did section 1 and 2. They were very interesting and challenged me very hard. I hope we get to work on this once again. I hope you ENJOY IT and learn something from this.

 This is my reading task with my teacher Mrs Stone. I am actually with Mr Moran but it was a good change of work. I really enjoyed doing this work. I hope I can do this again. ENJOY!

Oh no a tornado hits South Auckland!

 If you didn't know a tornado sadly hit South Auckland. In the area around Papatoetoe. Killing one person and injuring two others.The tornado lifted roofs, toppled trees and caused huge damage to peoples houses. This tornado happened around 8:30 on Saturday morning. I really hope that the people that live there can get back on there feet. Even though they probably lost there house they are very strong people. My grandparents and uncles and aunts live around that area in Papatoetoe. So I will be praying that all is good and that they will get back up again!

Why does matter matter?

 Today we were learning about the 3 matters. Also known as liquid,gas and solid. We did this with Mrs Nader. It was actually really interesting and fun to learn about it. Experiment! (Building a raft)

 

Hi guys, so this was our experiment. We had to work in groups and I worked with Austin,Cherish and Rongo. What we had to do was build a boat that could float. The trick was we could only use straws,tape and scissor. My team also used a bit of cardboard. Our boat started off good but it started sinking because of the cardboard. At the start we didn't really communicate, but at the end we made it. Anyway I hope I can do this again, but with new people. I hope you enjoy.
