My country I want to go to

I really want to go to Canada because it is a very beautiful country and I really want to learn how to play ice hockey. I really think I would relax and chill out. I would also like to speak in french,so when I go to Canada I want to speak french to them. I would love to come to Canada to see all of the cities and the places like the mountain's and the village and the castle

Later week as I was arriving at school I was extremely excited to go to the Manaiakalani Film Festival. Before we left school we watched some of the Pt England movie that we weren't going to watch on the giant screen.

After a couple of minutes we went of to Hoyts Cinema in Sylvia park.When we got on the bus it was rumbling and shaking. After we went and we  played  hand games, singing songs, doing challenges, and  playing I spy. As we went we were talking about what we will expect in the movie,and what we will think about it.

Later when we got there we went inside,we were also going with another school called Tamaki Primary school they came to join us. When we got in we sat in our chairs, Miss Davis said ‘three to a seat’ and me Julianna, and Keyana sat down on our comfortable seats, as we sat down it got dark and darker until it was dark like a cave.Then it started, we were excited as it began.After Noah talked we watch the first movie and it was called Our School Tamaki Primary another was The Wrong Movie,What do you bring to the table,Sugar rap,Clayien, and my favourite one was The real story of Peter Pan.


After all those movie we had  head back and ate some lunch. I can’t wait for next years manaiakalani film festival. I wonder what I will be the presenter,main character, or even the storyteller.What do you wanna be in the film festival next year?

My assembly writting

As the children from room 14 walked in the hall there was some rocking music coming from the hall. We had to go there because it was a new term. When we sat down the assembly started and we were extremely excited. First Mr Burt, Mrs Nua, Mr J, Mr Wiseman, and Mr Somerville played a song called Musical Madness saved the day. My favorite part was that Mr J played the trumpet and it was cool. After the rocking song we started the items.

Last it was time for team one, They were playing snap with jumbo cards the teachers that were act was, Mrs Lal, Miss Hockly, Miss Clarke,Miss Szymanik, Mrs Dwyer,Miss Squires,Miss Bark. They first played a happy song which made them feel happy, but then Miss Hockly change the music to a fighting song and then they started fighting like a polar bear and a brown bear. After their fight they changed the music to a scary and creepy music and they were scared. Later they changed the music to a happy song that made them dance like happy dancer then they were finished.

My favourite team item was team four because they played different music and swap place in a car.There songs that they played was Welcome, Reach for the stars, everything awesome, rock n  roll songs,. They also had products,but in the end Mr J was listening to drop it like it’s  hot and he was very funny.

I wonder if we're going to have a awesome music band and make music.

My trip to the Stardome

Yesterday, all the Year 3s and Year 4s got on a bus to go to the Stardome.When we got on the bus we had to find a  comfortable seat to sit on. After we were on the bus  Mr Moran sang a Charlie Puth song called I’m only one call away. After a while we were playing hand games. Later we went past one tree hill and there it was, Stardome.

At the Stardome, we learned some really cool things about our solar system.  We learned about our planets and how they move.We learned about the phases of the moon,how our planets move, and how the sun shares its light to the planets.We also did a quiz about our solar system what we had to do was get an ipad then we would have to look for the answer around the Stardome space.Later we all gather and John told us who won and it was Neptune and Jupiter.

When we weren’t in the Stardome, we were having fun outside.

When we were outside we were playing at the playground.The first thing I went go was the swing and my second one was the flying fox.The flying fox looked really fun so I went.When it was my turn I felt really nervous. So when I got pushed I started laughing because it was really fun. I went on it for 15 times.

After all this, we headed back to Point England School.

While we were getting in the bus we were singing a song. When we were ready off we went. When the bus was going we were playing hand games I was play with Kitione, Suade, and Israel we were play truth or dare.After we were playing we were at school.Later we got our lunch and sat outside and ate our lunch and we went off to play.

My writing about the seasons

Season are caused because of the Earths changing position with the sun.The Earth travels around the sun in an orbit once a year.As the Earth orbits the sun,the amount of sunlight each place on the planet gets everyday changs slightly. This change causes the seasons.We divide the year into four seasons Spring,summer,autumn, and winter.Each season lasts three months with summer being the warmest winter being the coldest and spring and autumn lying in between.The seasons have a lot of Impact of what happens on the Earth.

Space bong

One day as I was walking down to my house a strange funny looking creature pop up in my space watch.I search for that creature,and it was an alien.So I said “hi what is your name”, the alien replied “greeting my name is Kazmo and who are you” I said “I am space girl Angelica what is your problem sidon”. The alien said “oh about that my whole planet has no more gardens,flowers,and animals.I said to the alien “what planet are you in  so that I can come and see how it happened.The alien said I’m in planet Bong. Later that day I went to  put my astronaut suit on,and ran as fast like a cheater to help Kazmo.

After I blasted up into space.I past a milky way then Mars and there it was planet Bong it looked as sandy as the beach without water. I felt depressed for then but as soon as I fix there planet I would feel amused.After a while I got there.Kazmo shouted “ Angelica ain't I glad to see you look at this place it is just sandy and dusty”I replied to Kazmo “so am I supposed to meet up with your master or something” Kazmo said “oh right you mean Jasper he’s  our master.I  said “wow your planet has a secret lab so awesome” Kazmo said “I know right but  I don’t know why we have it but it is super cool”.Later I meet Jasper.I said”hello Jasper master of the alien” Jasper shouted “ greetings to you to Angeilca”. I asked “Kazmo why is Jasper so microscopic like a bug” Kazmo responded “it's just because the big ones are the youngest and the mini ones are the eldest and oldest.

Lastly we had to think how to get this problem solved.I told Jasper “Jasper do you have water on your planet” Jasper replied “no we don’t have water” l said “Jasper that is why your planet has no  gardens,flowers,and animals because you need water to help it because you already have the lightness but you need water” Jasper responded “Angelica where are we going to get water from there is just nothing” I said to Jasper “ i'll  asked my space mates to bring a massive bucket to bring water so that you can have all your things back”.After Kazmo yelled “look around everybody there is Angelicas space mates are here with the bucket of water”.

At the end my space mates tipped the bucket on the planet and it was wonderful. Kazmo said “Angelica thank you very much for your help to me and my planet” Jasper came and said “for saving our planet we would like to give you our tropice of saving” I said “ thank you and I will miss you I will never forget you”.So I went back home.

The sun is the largest star in our solar system.How ever there are many stars like it in the wider universe.The Earth is just the right distance from the sun that are planet is not to hot or to cold.The light from the sun takes eight minutes to reach Earth,and gives life to plants. Astronauts will never able to land on the sun,as it reaches five thousand five hundred degrees celsius. One hundred times hotter than humans can stands,the sheer size  of the sun means that its gravitational pull forces  all the planets in  our solar system to obbit  around it.Born five billion years ago the sun has been producing heat and light for a very long time.

Long ago there was a town named England with wonderful people.Every single day there peace and quiet in the town.They were friendly and everybody in the town was happy.

Until the next day when people were  just enjoying the nice fresh air to breath in until the ground was shaking. Everyone fell to the ground and got back up.Later after the shaking stopped and then two enormous giant fuzzy bunnies hopped into the town and started attacking the town they hopped everywhere and destroying the shops and the house everyone shouted “ahhh the bunnies are destroying the whole town it is breaking down in pieces like a pizza” the  other said “we're going to die  in this place everyone.”

Look what is that?It is a plane a bird no it is animal control with a huge cage to put the bunnies in it.Finally they grabbed the bunnies and took them back to animal control.The next day one of the animal control people came and tell about the bunnies he said ‘the bunnies ate something and got bigger but we took it out and now they're in there right size and let them go but hey thanks for calling us see you soon.”Everyone was back in there peace world

My paper plane p

In the afternoon on Monday I walked into the classroom I felt nervous because I didn’t know what we doing.After when I sat on the mat  Miss Davis was holding some paper in her hand.Room 14 didn’t know what we were doing.We were making paper planes. We were making paper planes so we can see how paper planes can fly. Before we got a piece of paper we watched a video of one way of  doing a paper plane. What the first part was how to make a paper plane was to get a piece of paper and fold it like a hot dog.What your plane is to look like is a  square and two triangles on the top. When you're done you fold the  corners to get there and fold the the other one and there you. How does your plane fly it fly from the thrust from you once you push your plane the thrust,  force, and the life push your plane and once it gets far it falls onto the ground and that how you can make planes and how they fly.

After we watched the video Miss Davis called each group to get a piece of paper and started building because we only have 15 minutes before we test them.Later we started building our planes I choose to do it my way so what I did was fold it and folded  the two top ones then I folded the top ones and fold the left side then the other one. Meanwhile I folded the top p art and folded the sides together. Lastly I bent the sides and made wings then it was time for the competition Miss Davis said ‘stop, look, and listen" everyone stop what you're doing it is time  for the room 14 plane competition whoever wins  they go on the room 14  plane trophy and there a champion I felt anxious because I didn’t know if I was going to win.

 We went outside and started the competition I felt anxious I had the butterflies but my I stood up for myself.First my group went  first which was the blue group.Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! Chaun won I felt proud because I may not win but my teammate won.Next it was the orange .Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! and Kelly won.After it was the purple group Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! And Troy won.Second to last it was the turquoise and Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! And Leigharna won.Lastly it was the green group and Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! And Kitione won.Then it was the winner's time and they went and the one that lost was Kitione then Troy and Chaun and our last people it was Kelly vs  Leigharna and Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! So Kelly won and she got to go on the trophy plane and she was the champion.

I mostly felt joyful because it was my first time building a plane at school and it was fun and excited I hope I get to make one again.

My swimming lesson at the GI pools

Last  week my whole class went to the GI swimming pool to learn some lesson for swimming.I  felt  anxious because it was my first time getting in the  pool. What I was hoping for the water to be warm and it was warm.

Before we left the classroom we got our togs then we lined up  in two lines and went to the toilets to change to our  togs.After we got in our togs Miss Davis said   ‘everyone come on we don’t want to be late for swimming’. When everyone got  out of  the toilets we walked to the pool. When we were walking Miss Davis said ‘look at the creek what do you see in the creek’. Israel said ‘cans,plastic bottles, cardboard’.I felt sad that people won’t throw rubbish  in the bin.

Next we reached  the pool. Then we went for a shower before got in the pool. Next Kat talked to us about what is dangerous in a river,lake,and beach.What is dangerous in a river is rocks,logs,and some plant that could pull you down.Later we finished talking about the things that are dangerous    in a river we went to our instructor that is going to teach us.

My instructor name is Jess.In my group I had Israel,Suade,Kitione,Jermaine,Kharizma,Julianna,and Troy.First we had to put our heads under water for 5 seconds. Second Jess gave our kickboards.Third Jess told us to do our streamline, me and Kharizma went first then Troy and Suade after them it was Israel and Jermaine Then the last people Julianna and Kitione.Fourth we swam backwards.Finally Jess said ’you can swim back any way that we learned’.Lastly we swam back and high five Jess and   went out of the pool and got our towels and lined up to go back and change at class.I felt in the pool I felt nervous,afraid,scared,anxious,terrified.

What  I want for next time is to learn to how to swim like a mermaid.If Jess teach us I  would feel so happy because I have been dreaming of swimming like one.

the tiny dragon

The world’s smallest dragon is an amazing creature, it is so tiny that it sit on only two fingers of a human hand.The amazing dragon is a creature that has see through wings and it also blows fire from its mouth. When the dragon blows fire smoke comes out from its nostrils.Did you know the dragon haves shining scales it even has spiky tails.Have you heard a dragon's horn is as sharp as a knife.

Caring for this creature is a challenging task and should not be taken on without serious thought. To take care because it is my responsibility to look after the dragon.If my dragon wanted something I would make her a bed with pillow,blanket. every 1 hour I would give my dragon a treat if she does a trick.If Sparkle is sick I would get her in bed and tell her favourite bedtime story and give some nice warm soup  so she can have some rest.

Dragons are playful creature and they love to play games with children.

If none was at home I would take my dragon to school so that she could play with me and friends. I would pack treats, tiny drink bottle, and some books so that she can read.If my dragon wanted to pee I would have a little bag so she can pee. After my lesson and it’s lunch time I would give my dragon her marshmallows so that she can roasted  them to make some s'mores.

The funnest day ever! In the life

                It was a wonderful Last week because it was the Pt England picnic!

Before we left the classroom we checked if everyone was here.Then we got our bags and hats and went to the hall.When we got to the hall Mr Burt talked  to us how we were going to walk like Mr Burt said’ year 7 and 8 follow me and Mrs Nu is going to be at the back of the year 5 and 6  so no one can be left behind and teachers take your classroom when you are ready’.After we left to go to the beach to have some fun.When we got there Mr Burt talked to us about what we can do and what we can't do then we found  a spot where we could eat, get change,  swimming  and to lay down. After we ran of to play l was play with Kiarah,Julianna,Kharizma we were blinding a sand castle.Later when me Kiarah,Julianna,Kharizma finish we went to eat after we ate then  we came it was busted then me Kiarah,Julianna,Kharizma blinded another castle after Kiarahs mum came over to have lunch later after they had lunch Kiarah went home then Julianna  went with her mum to have lunch then Ozzy,Fifta,Jacob,frances came and helped to blind a castle.When we were almost finish me Kharizma went to make clay then after we finished making the clay it was time for the team 3 to get in the beach when team 3 finished there swimming they went to change then team 4 went swimming then team 5 went after team 5 finished Mr Burt called everyone to clean up and came then my classroom  was ready then we all went to the grass place then Mr Burt said a thank you praya for the wonderful day at the beach then after the pray a we all went back to school to wait for our family then we all throw  all of our bags  and watch our movies from last year then the bell rang and we all went home staff

I felt happy,pleased because it was a sunny day.

the opening bike track

Last week Pt England,and the room 14 ,and the kindergarten school went to the bottom field to the grand opening bike track.When we got there we sat down on the grass then the bike track was opening  .

First before we left the classroom we packed up and got ready to go.Then Miss Davis called everyone to  come to the mat then after we all got our hats.After we lined up in a respectfully line.Then we walk to the bottom field where the bike track open was.We all sat down on the grass it felt  and the bike track was starting.Mr Burt went up and told what was happening. After two prefects came and said a prayer for the bike track.When the prayer finish the Kapa Haka group year 5-8 sang a song to the variety  club.To  say thank you for giving our school a bike track and the bikes. Mr Burt said ‘thank you Kapa Haka group for performing that dance let us  give a around of a claw for a fantastic song’.  Later something came out from the shed it was 50 bike’s then all Mr Jay rider jump on the bike’s and two kids got scissor and the two perfects came to count down for the scissors 1,2,3,cut it said the two perfects and then the bike track was open. I felt happy, excited, cheerful and thrilled  because they gave us bikes and a bike track.

Duffy show

Last Tuesday room 14 and the junior classes came to see the Duffy show.The Duffy showed happened  in the hall.When we got in the hall I was happy.We learnt about keeping the plants safe and watering  them everyday.

First as Duffy was reading his three books outside in the shade.Then something was in the air .Duffy said’ what is that a bird a bee it could be anything’. then something showed up it was a superhero. Duffy didn’t believe her .The superhero name was Global Girl to help people. Global Girl said ‘hi Duffy nice to meet you’ Duffy replied  ‘nice to meet you too’.Global Girl asked ‘Duffy l need your help to save the world Duffy said’ what me to save the world with you oh no no no l’m not a superhero. Global girl sayed ‘Duffy you don’t need superhero powers just be you’. Global girl said ‘hold on we're going to fly in the air now. where in Australia now .Duffy said ‘in Australia where its hot’. Global Girl said ‘yep where its hot’ .yum yum yum these trees are yummy .Global Girl ask  ‘who said that ‘’ me’ said the strange animal. Global girl said ‘what are you ?a bird a monkey’’ no ‘ said the strange animal l.m a Koala’ Global Girl and Duffy said ‘a Koala if you are a Koala then show yourself .‘ ‘Ok’ said Koala .Koala  said ‘here l am ‘ Global Girl and Duffy said ‘oh l guess we were wrong about you we're sorry. ‘ Global Girl could hear a noise close to them it was a fire monster.It  appeared in the bushes coming out it was getting closer and closer and closer then Global Girl made it rain all the way down it burns the fire monster and come droning . Koala said’ thanks for saving my life you're my hero .By the way my name is Wanda’ Global Girl and Duffy said ‘see you later Wanda’. Global Girl said ‘are you ready Duffy .‘‘Duffy said ‘ l guess ‘ .Global girl said ‘ok 1 2 3 here we go. ‘ Now we're in the Kenya deserted’ said Global girl Duffy said in the Kenya Deserted? where it's hot. Good that l got my water bottle’. Then something appeared from the ground it was the queen of the deserted.it walk to her throne quiet  then she ask Duffy ‘Duffy l need to drink some please give me some just please lm very thirsty ‘. Ok’ said Duffy here you are your Majesty. Duffy said the queen said ‘Duffy Global  Girl  the roses are dieing from no water we have had no storm ‘ Duffy and Global Girl said ‘were go to save the Kenya Deserted’ the queen said ‘goodbye Duffy and Global Girl’. Then they flyed all the way to Global Girls plant  they went to Global Girls sentences  room to make clouds and elephant toothpaste they start then when they were finished Global Girls boss came in she said ‘Global girl you have failed your mission that means you're fired from being a superhero you will come back the apartment and pack up your staff’.Duffy said ‘no Global girl didn’t meant to do that staff were go back then Australia Kenya Deserted came back and they fixed everything then when it finished we sang the song i'm so happy that Duffy and his crew came to play another play can’t wait for next time.
