Today in maths we did a CSI case file. It was really fun, but this time we had to use division and multiplication. For me it was kind of hard because I don;t really know my division that well even though I should. Anyways I hope that we can get to do this again. Remember to STAY SAFE and HAPPY MAORI LANGUAGE WEEK!

Te Whare Tapa Whā -Taha Wairua
Malo e lelei. As you know this week is TONGAN LANGUAGE WEEK! So I am so excited about it. Anyways, today in our home class we learned about the Te Whare Tapa Wha. We didn't look at all of them, but we did look at Taha Wairua. Just to make it clear we are learning about all of the sides on its own. Before I go off topic we had to create our own Mihi. I did my own in 2 different languages. One in Maori and one in Tongan. There are videos of me saying it. It was really interesting and fun making my own Mihi. SO there you have it I hope you can remember to STAY SAFE and most importantly HAPPY TONGAN LANGUAGE WEEK!

Last STEM session!
Today we finally got to see our tech teachers at Tamaki. The sad part was that it was our last session with them, and of course it would have to be through google meets. Even though it was our last session we made the most of it. For the last session we got to learn about the States of Matter. Which are Solids,Liquids and Gases. Below our task were to take photos or get pictures off google. We needed to get 10 solids, 10 liquids and 10 gases. I'm very sad that we had to do our last session through meets. This term being in STEM/Science was AWESOME! I learned new things. My favourite session has to be when we did our heart rate and the pH one. Hopefully my next tech rotation can be just as good as this one. I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to MRS SHARMA for teaching me all of these new things. I wish you the best for your next rotation group. Anyways I hope you enjoy this and remember to STAY SAFE!

Oh no a tornado hits South Auckland!
If you didn't know a tornado sadly hit South Auckland. In the area around Papatoetoe. Killing one person and injuring two others. The tornado lifted roofs, toppled trees and caused huge damage to peoples houses. This tornado happened around 8:30 on Saturday morning. I really hope that the people that live there can get back on there feet. Even though they probably lost there house they are very strong people. My grandparents and uncles and aunts live around that area in Papatoetoe. So I will be praying that all is good and that they will get back up again!
