My country I want to go to

I really want to go to Canada because it is a very beautiful country and I really want to learn how to play ice hockey. I really think I would relax and chill out. I would also like to speak in french,so when I go to Canada I want to speak french to them. I would love to come to Canada to see all of the cities and the places like the mountain's and the village and the castle

Later week as I was arriving at school I was extremely excited to go to the Manaiakalani Film Festival. Before we left school we watched some of the Pt England movie that we weren't going to watch on the giant screen.

After a couple of minutes we went of to Hoyts Cinema in Sylvia park.When we got on the bus it was rumbling and shaking. After we went and we  played  hand games, singing songs, doing challenges, and  playing I spy. As we went we were talking about what we will expect in the movie,and what we will think about it.

Later when we got there we went inside,we were also going with another school called Tamaki Primary school they came to join us. When we got in we sat in our chairs, Miss Davis said ‘three to a seat’ and me Julianna, and Keyana sat down on our comfortable seats, as we sat down it got dark and darker until it was dark like a cave.Then it started, we were excited as it began.After Noah talked we watch the first movie and it was called Our School Tamaki Primary another was The Wrong Movie,What do you bring to the table,Sugar rap,Clayien, and my favourite one was The real story of Peter Pan.


After all those movie we had  head back and ate some lunch. I can’t wait for next years manaiakalani film festival. I wonder what I will be the presenter,main character, or even the storyteller.What do you wanna be in the film festival next year?

Dear Amber,  

This term we are learning about music, so far we have been learning notes and making music. We learned how to make some shakers. First we had to choose four different cups. Second we had to pick an object and the objects were rocks, shells, confetti, buttons, sticks. I choose rock and you were only allowed one to ten. Next we had to cut up a perfectly circle, Later we taped the circle around the cup. After we all finished we learned some notes the a long note, short note, semibreve,  semiquaver, minim, and a crochet. The semibreve is four beats and the semiquaver is 1 half and a minim is two beats and the crochet is one beat.

I am looking forward to prize giving and film festival.

As the children from room 14 walked in the hall there was some rocking music coming from the hall. We had to go there because it was a new term. When we sat down the assembly started and we were extremely excited. First Mr Burt, Mrs Nua, Mr J, Mr Wiseman, and Mr Somerville played a song called Musical Madness saved the day. My favorite part was that Mr J played the trumpet and it was cool. After the rocking song we started the items.

Last it was time for team one, They were playing snap with jumbo cards the teachers that were act was, Mrs Lal, Miss Hockly, Miss Clarke,Miss Szymanik, Mrs Dwyer,Miss Squires,Miss Bark. They first played a happy song which made them feel happy, but then Miss Hockly change the music to a fighting song and then they started fighting like a polar bear and a brown bear. After their fight they changed the music to a scary and creepy music and they were scared. Later they changed the music to a happy song that made them dance like happy dancer then they were finished.

My favourite team item was team four because they played different music and swap place in a car.There songs that they played was Welcome, Reach for the stars, everything awesome, rock n  roll songs,. They also had products,but in the end Mr J was listening to drop it like it’s  hot and he was very funny.

I wonder if we're going to have a awesome music band and make music.

My rocket booster are as red as fire.It has a safety helmet to breath in space. It also has a badge shape as a puppy’s paw. It’s main colour is an icy shady blue.

As I was walking down the path I felt scared because it was my first time going to outer space. When I went into my rocket it was as shiny as a crystal.Later after a long time my rocket started to shake side to side.When it counted down the big loud voice man counted down ‘3,2,1,0,…’

As I blasted of into space I saw the fastest comet ever. In space it is as dark as a hole in the dark. Later as I was going I decided to go to the hottest burning fire planet in the solar system and it was Venus. When I got to Venus it was as hot as a fire. As soon as I got off  there was nothing over there. After awhile it started to get foggy and dusty. Then later I started to explore Venu. When I was walking on Venus I forgot the that Venus was a rocky midget. On Venus it is a very rocky planet. Venus is the second planet in our solar system. Venus take two hundred and twenty five days to orbit the sun and it has no moons around Venus.

Afterwhile I decided to go to another planet and was Saturn.So I took of and went passed Earth, Mars, Jupiter and there it was Saturn the planet with rings.After I started looking around the rings,did you know that Saturn rings are made out of the strongest rocks like metals.As soon as I landed it was beautiful.Out of nowhere there was an alien and its name was Alex.Soon we we talk for one hour and it was a long day so I decided to go back to Earth and have a rest.So I went and I said goodbye to Alex.Then I got home.

Thank you for the wonderful letter and  Yes I do have brothers and sisters.I have two  sister and one brother. Friend do you have any playstation? I have four playstation.

Friend did you know that it is Tongan language week.I am Tongan and this Friday all the Tongans are going to perform a dance and the boys are going to do a haka. Do  you like Tongan dances?

Friend did you know that we went to the Stardome. It was amazing we got to play on the playground.Then we got to go in a room and learn about how our planet orbit the sun and how the sun gives us the sunlight.

Last Thursday me, Kiarah, Luisa, Julianna, Gabby, Kolopa, Le’shar and Miss Davis went to the Romeo and Juliet ballet show.On that day we got on the bus the bus had a toilet,certain,tv,seat belts,radios,pockets,and fans.Later we got up to the place and we all were so delighted.When we got of we went to the sit theater. Then we had to wait for 6 minutes to get in the theatre. After we got into our seats we were at the back row.When it started we were all clapping.Later got to see a lady and she told us when our school name we clap or cheer.After we the show started.At the beginning there was a two  family that hated each other. My favourite part was the part that they.

My trip to the Stardome

Yesterday, all the Year 3s and Year 4s got on a bus to go to the Stardome.When we got on the bus we had to find a  comfortable seat to sit on. After we were on the bus  Mr Moran sang a Charlie Puth song called I’m only one call away. After a while we were playing hand games. Later we went past one tree hill and there it was, Stardome.

At the Stardome, we learned some really cool things about our solar system.  We learned about our planets and how they move.We learned about the phases of the moon,how our planets move, and how the sun shares its light to the planets.We also did a quiz about our solar system what we had to do was get an ipad then we would have to look for the answer around the Stardome space.Later we all gather and John told us who won and it was Neptune and Jupiter.

When we weren’t in the Stardome, we were having fun outside.

When we were outside we were playing at the playground.The first thing I went go was the swing and my second one was the flying fox.The flying fox looked really fun so I went.When it was my turn I felt really nervous. So when I got pushed I started laughing because it was really fun. I went on it for 15 times.

After all this, we headed back to Point England School.

While we were getting in the bus we were singing a song. When we were ready off we went. When the bus was going we were playing hand games I was play with Kitione, Suade, and Israel we were play truth or dare.After we were playing we were at school.Later we got our lunch and sat outside and ate our lunch and we went off to play.

Dear Pen pal,

My name is Angelica I go to Pt England School.I am 8 years old. I have friends called Suade, Kiarah,Julianna,Jermaine. I have a lovely teacher called Miss Davis.

My favourite food is sushi because it has vegetables in it. When I was a kid I hated sushi but when I was growing up I started eating sushi when I started Pt England.I have a blue pet bird and her name is called Fluffy. Do you have a pet and what is its name? My favourite subject in school is reading. What is your favourite subject? My favourite sports  that I love is playing basketball,netball, and rugby. What are  your favourite sports?

My school topic this term is guardians of the galaxy planet Earth and beyond that means we look after our planet. What my class is learning this term is the solar system.We're going to be learning about planets like Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,and Neptune.This week my group was reading why was Pluto not a planet. Pluto was not a planet because Pluto was different to the other planets because it was smaller and if Pluto was still a planet they were have to name more planets are you learning about the solar system and the planets in your class and what is your topic this term.

My writing about the seasons

Season are caused because of the Earths changing position with the sun.The Earth travels around the sun in an orbit once a year.As the Earth orbits the sun,the amount of sunlight each place on the planet gets everyday changs slightly. This change causes the seasons.We divide the year into four seasons Spring,summer,autumn, and winter.Each season lasts three months with summer being the warmest winter being the coldest and spring and autumn lying in between.The seasons have a lot of Impact of what happens on the Earth.

Space bong

One day as I was walking down to my house a strange funny looking creature pop up in my space watch.I search for that creature,and it was an alien.So I said “hi what is your name”, the alien replied “greeting my name is Kazmo and who are you” I said “I am space girl Angelica what is your problem sidon”. The alien said “oh about that my whole planet has no more gardens,flowers,and animals.I said to the alien “what planet are you in  so that I can come and see how it happened.The alien said I’m in planet Bong. Later that day I went to  put my astronaut suit on,and ran as fast like a cheater to help Kazmo.

After I blasted up into space.I past a milky way then Mars and there it was planet Bong it looked as sandy as the beach without water. I felt depressed for then but as soon as I fix there planet I would feel amused.After a while I got there.Kazmo shouted “ Angelica ain't I glad to see you look at this place it is just sandy and dusty”I replied to Kazmo “so am I supposed to meet up with your master or something” Kazmo said “oh right you mean Jasper he’s  our master.I  said “wow your planet has a secret lab so awesome” Kazmo said “I know right but  I don’t know why we have it but it is super cool”.Later I meet Jasper.I said”hello Jasper master of the alien” Jasper shouted “ greetings to you to Angeilca”. I asked “Kazmo why is Jasper so microscopic like a bug” Kazmo responded “it's just because the big ones are the youngest and the mini ones are the eldest and oldest.

Lastly we had to think how to get this problem solved.I told Jasper “Jasper do you have water on your planet” Jasper replied “no we don’t have water” l said “Jasper that is why your planet has no  gardens,flowers,and animals because you need water to help it because you already have the lightness but you need water” Jasper responded “Angelica where are we going to get water from there is just nothing” I said to Jasper “ i'll  asked my space mates to bring a massive bucket to bring water so that you can have all your things back”.After Kazmo yelled “look around everybody there is Angelicas space mates are here with the bucket of water”.

At the end my space mates tipped the bucket on the planet and it was wonderful. Kazmo said “Angelica thank you very much for your help to me and my planet” Jasper came and said “for saving our planet we would like to give you our tropice of saving” I said “ thank you and I will miss you I will never forget you”.So I went back home.

The sun is the largest star in our solar system.How ever there are many stars like it in the wider universe.The Earth is just the right distance from the sun that are planet is not to hot or to cold.The light from the sun takes eight minutes to reach Earth,and gives life to plants. Astronauts will never able to land on the sun,as it reaches five thousand five hundred degrees celsius. One hundred times hotter than humans can stands,the sheer size  of the sun means that its gravitational pull forces  all the planets in  our solar system to obbit  around it.Born five billion years ago the sun has been producing heat and light for a very long time.

My group was reading different book me and Keyana and Kharizma was reading queen of the pool thi is about a girl called selena and she was moving but she didn't want to go.so when they got to there new house their was a pool so their mum said that they were going to learning how to swim because they never had a swimming pool at there old house but Selena didn't want to swim so her fried Ellie help her to swim.

I love this book because even if Selena was scared of the water she went over her fear and did the right thing by saving Jade.

My Tamarereti movie

My movie is about a Maori myth it s a story of Tamarereti and the taniwha It is about Tamarereti getting the stars back because his people were in danger He went out fishing and he took a nap.His waka beached itself to the other of the land.Tamarereti was hungry so he went to get one of his.After he ate all of it he saw some pebbles and he got as many as he could fit in his waka.He threw the pebbles up in the sky and Tamarereti could see the path to his home.Tamarereti got home.Later that day a visitor came it was ranginui he said "thsnk you for shining the night sky"but Tamarereti thought he was going in trouble after the talk Tamarereti slept.That is my Movie about Tamarereti.

Long ago there was a town named England with wonderful people.Every single day there peace and quiet in the town.They were friendly and everybody in the town was happy.

Until the next day when people were  just enjoying the nice fresh air to breath in until the ground was shaking. Everyone fell to the ground and got back up.Later after the shaking stopped and then two enormous giant fuzzy bunnies hopped into the town and started attacking the town they hopped everywhere and destroying the shops and the house everyone shouted “ahhh the bunnies are destroying the whole town it is breaking down in pieces like a pizza” the  other said “we're going to die  in this place everyone.”

Look what is that?It is a plane a bird no it is animal control with a huge cage to put the bunnies in it.Finally they grabbed the bunnies and took them back to animal control.The next day one of the animal control people came and tell about the bunnies he said ‘the bunnies ate something and got bigger but we took it out and now they're in there right size and let them go but hey thanks for calling us see you soon.”Everyone was back in there peace world

My Tamarereti scpit

About seven hundred years ago there lived a very dangerous creature that lived in the mighty lake taupo it was the taniwha. The taniwha would gobble anyone who would emerge near by. Their  lived a little village on the edge of the mighty lake Taupo. In the village there was a boy called Tamarereti. One day Tamarereti awoke  and went to check his kete so that he could see that if there is some delish fish.When he tipped it down there was nothing, so Tamarereti decided to go out fishing to get some fish for him and his family.

Tamarereti grabbed all the fishing gear he had got and started sailing across the the mighty huge sea. After he caught three tremendous shiny scaly fish the wind died so Tamarereti deiced to a nap. Later that day after hours and hours the waka drifted itself and beached into the other side of the land. After Tamarereti awoke from his nap he was anxious  because the taniwha would come and gobble him up.

It was getting dark and Tamarereti was starving  he went to grabbed one of the fish he caught and lit a fire and cooked his tremendous fish. Meanwhile when Tamarereti ate his fish he saw some glistening pebbles. Tamarereti gathered as many as he could fit in his waka so that when he  sails he threw the glistening  pebbles into  the sky so that he can   see the path to his home. Bravely, Tamarereti sailed across the sea and started throwing the glistening pebbles up in the sky which they became stars. Tamarereti got home. That night forward Ranginui came and told Tamarereti ‘thank you for shining the stars were they belong your waka will be placed  in the village near the bay so people can remember that you got the stars back’ but Tamarereti thought he was going to get in trouble. After the talk Tamarereti went slept after his adventure.

In the afternoon on Monday I walked into the classroom I felt nervous because I didn’t know what we doing.After when I sat on the mat  Miss Davis was holding some paper in her hand.Room 14 didn’t know what we were doing.We were making paper planes. We were making paper planes so we can see how paper planes can fly. Before we got a piece of paper we watched a video of one way of  doing a paper plane. What the first part was how to make a paper plane was to get a piece of paper and fold it like a hot dog.What your plane is to look like is a  square and two triangles on the top. When you're done you fold the  corners to get there and fold the the other one and there you. How does your plane fly it fly from the thrust from you once you push your plane the thrust,  force, and the life push your plane and once it gets far it falls onto the ground and that how you can make planes and how they fly.

After we watched the video Miss Davis called each group to get a piece of paper and started building because we only have 15 minutes before we test them.Later we started building our planes I choose to do it my way so what I did was fold it and folded  the two top ones then I folded the top ones and fold the left side then the other one. Meanwhile I folded the top p art and folded the sides together. Lastly I bent the sides and made wings then it was time for the competition Miss Davis said ‘stop, look, and listen" everyone stop what you're doing it is time  for the room 14 plane competition whoever wins  they go on the room 14  plane trophy and there a champion I felt anxious because I didn’t know if I was going to win.

 We went outside and started the competition I felt anxious I had the butterflies but my I stood up for myself.First my group went  first which was the blue group.Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! Chaun won I felt proud because I may not win but my teammate won.Next it was the orange .Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! and Kelly won.After it was the purple group Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! And Troy won.Second to last it was the turquoise and Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! And Leigharna won.Lastly it was the green group and Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! And Kitione won.Then it was the winner's time and they went and the one that lost was Kitione then Troy and Chaun and our last people it was Kelly vs  Leigharna and Miss Davis counted down 5,4,3,2,1 go! Go! Go! So Kelly won and she got to go on the trophy plane and she was the champion.

I mostly felt joyful because it was my first time building a plane at school and it was fun and excited I hope I get to make one again.
