Ambassador application

This is my ambassador application for next year.

Malo e lei lei ko hoku hingoa ko Angelica. Ko oku famili oku hau mai he beautiful island named Tonga no Aotearoa ahau . Oku o Tonga,Half Samoa mo Pakeha.Oku o tao hong oulu.Pe oku ou Kalasi nima. Pei loau hoku parents oku Tongan. 

These sentences are in Tongan and a little bit Maori.

On something different.I like learning because it gives me a chance to learn something that I haven’t learned yet.My friends think that I am kind,smart,helpful and sometimes don’t listen. My teacher says that I am hard working and very good at writing. My favourite subject is writing because I like to use lots of vocab. 

I would like to be an ambassador because it will make my family proud. Also I will be the first in my family. I would also like to be it because it would give me a great opportunity to meet people and talk to them about how our school work.

Hi welcome to my animation, my name is Angelica.For this animation I will be talking to you about what UV light is and why it is harmful. So let’s get right into it. 

First off all UV stands for ultra violet, but where does the name come from? The name comes from the rainbow ROYGBIV. You can also remember by the seven lights of the sun. Infrared rays,Microwaves, Short radio waves, Long radio waves, Ultra violet rays, X-rays, Gamma rays and cosmic rays. 

Why are they put in this order? Well the reason why is because red is the low energy and violet is the high energy.There is also three lights that come to earth. One infrared the second visible light and the last one ultra violet.

Here's a fact you can not smell, see or feel UV light. You also can’t taste and hear it. 

Here is a picture that I drew about what the outside of earth is like. Right there is the ozone layer it is like a big shield. Around this area is the ozone hole. The ozone hole is bad because it causes us to get sunburned.

In 1920’s cfc was created and it was damaging our ozone layer. Which is not good at all. The c stands for chlorine and the f stands for fluorine and the last one c stands for carbon. 

Where does it come from? It comes from old fridges back in the day. They would escape and the cfc would crumble our ozone hole. Here’s what the differences are from normal to sunburn.

Here’s is the last fact. Did you know that NZ has the highest risk of skin cancer. Sometimes it is good to check if your sunburn is skin cancer.Well remember to stay sun smart.
